What I do

1 in 6 employees experience a mental health issue in any given year . That's a lot of people feeling overwhelmed and in need of support. But unfortunately 3 out of 5 of employees don't feel comfortable talking to their managers about it, and over half of all managers admit they haven't received any training on how to help their teams.

That's where MHFA Mental Health First Aid training comes in. By investing in training for your employees, you're not only investing in their wellbeing, but also the success of your business.

With over 30 experience in the wellbeing industry and a proven track record in delivering outstanding MHFA Mental Health First Aid training, I’m here to help you. So get in touch. Together we’ll tackle the tough stuff at a time when, let's face it, it’s needed more than ever.

About me

Sharron Moffatt MHFA

Today I am vibrant but my life hasn’t always been sunshine and rainbows.

From and early age , I experienced first hand how mental illness can wreak havoc on a persons life, happiness and ultimately health.

During my career with over 30 years of experience in the Health and  Fitness  industry I've battled with depression and anxiety many times . I kept my struggles hidden well,  masking them with a facade of “okay-ness” that eventually took a serious toll on me.

Ten years ago was the worst time for me. My behaviour changed dramatically and I was in crisis. Yet, nobody seemed to notice or care enough to ask how I was doing. Instead, for the first and only time during my career, I was was called into my managers office, informally disciplined for not being a team player and for being unapproachable.

Looking back, I wish my colleagues had the tools to recognise the signs of mental illness and the confidence to offer support. That experience has lead me to where I am today.

I know firsthand the impact that mental illness can have on an individual, their colleagues, and their work. That's why I'm passionate about equipping leaders and employees with the skills they need to support one another and prioritise mental health in the workplace.

It's not just about preventing crises; it's about creating a culture of understanding, compassion, and well-being for everyone.
